こんにちは。

My name is Nick Godwin and I'm a professional language coach.
I lived in Japan for three and a half years teaching English to business and medical professionals.
私は、英会話インストラクターのニック・ゴドヴィンです。
3年半、日本でビジネスマンや医療に関わる専門家に英語を教えていました。

Now, I live in my home country, England, and over the coming months,
I'll be discussing various topics about health and medicine that are of interest in England.
現在は、故郷のイギリスに戻り、これから日本の皆さまにイギリスで話題になっている医療・健康についてのさまざまなトピックを紹介していきます。

Each month, we'll look at the common ideas, newspaper reports and the key research behind the topic.
毎月、医療・健康に関するトピックを取り上げ、イギリス人の一般的な考え方、新聞記事、研究を紹介します。

In addition, each week I'll give you a mini English lesson to help Japanese health and medical professionals communicate better internationally.
さらに、医療の専門家の皆さまがよりグローバルなコミュニケーションを英語圏の人々ととれるように、ミニ英会話レッスンも行います。

Next week, we'll start topic one, which looks at any possible links between brain cancer and mobile or cell phone use.
